Getting started - installing D-LINK Network adaptor

Installation of external network adapter to use when communicating with modules in VIGO6

D-Link DUB-1312 - Installation

Windows 7 / Windows 10

Start by connecting the D-Link DUB-1312 Network adapter to your pc. By default I should install by itself, but we record that this does not often happen. Therefore we decided to provide you with a guide to get the adapter drivers installed the right way.

  • Start by clicking the link below to begin the installation of the drivers from the official D-Link website.

https://media.dlink.eu/ftp/products/dub/dub-1312/driver_software/DUB-1312_drv_revA1_3-0-2-0-Win_eu_multi_20181004.zip

  • Right click the zip file, extract all…
  • Press extract…
  • Wait for the computer to unzip the file…

Now you have unzipped the zip file…

  • Double click the unzipped folder…
  • Navigate to the setup file and double click…
  • The installation should just run by itself and you will at the end be provided with this screen to show you that the installation was successful…
  • Now to confirm that the adapter is installed, navigate to the adapter settings. Start by right clicking your internet connection and press the "Open Network and Sharing Center"…
  • Click “change adapter settings” to view all network devices…
  • Here we see our new Ethernet 2 network adapter (D-Link DUB-1312)…

That was all for the installation, now you can start communicating with your modules in VIGO6.
